We’re focused on college success, not just access.

We support our graduates by having an Alumni Coordinator and Alumni Association who keep in touch with students, giving them support and guidance to help them succeed in college and life.

The purpose of the LEAD’s Alumni Association is to promote the welfare of the school among its alumni, and to further advance interest, participation, and support among members of the organization.  We will do so by focusing on our three core values of Advocacy, Family, and Mentorship.

Membership and Events

Each Alumni Association member is required to participate in three events during the 2017-2018 academic year.  Events are categorized based on our core values of Advocacy, Family, and Mentorship.  Check out our 2017-2018 calendar!

Guidance and Support

Alumni are encouraged to reach out to Ms. Christine Harris, LEAD's director of college counseling, for guidance and support at any time, for any reason. Ms. Harris can be reached at christine.harris@leadpublicschools.org or cell at (615) 618-9695.

In Their Own Words...

“LEAD is not just a high school. It’s basically your family.  They help you with college.  But once you go to college they don’t leave you because family doesn’t leave you.” - Dan Johnson '16, MTSU sophomore.

“Y’all are always there for us. It’s home.  LEAD Academy is home to me.” - DeAndra Lockett '15, MTSU junior.
